Fireball Charming ep 1: Bootstrap Continuum

I just saw the first episode of Fireball Charming today. Holy crap they didn't skip a beat. I had to watch it a few times to get all the information straight.

The episode is 2 minutes long, has the same fast paced structure, and acts more as a preview for the series. Not sure why it feels like that to me, might be because the title is shown at the end.
What's happening in the episode? Well, I'm not totally sure, and I don't want to give anything away.

Drossel's pretty happy about her second season :)

Now, we can't wait for next week XD
Here's the link to the episode for those who have not seen it yet.

"...sayonara, dewa mashita....."

It's been a week since the Earthquake and tsunami in Japan. I first heard the news on Danny Choo's website,  www.dannychoo.com ,  on friday morning.  What happened was and still is devastaing to everyone affected, in Japan and around the world.

I...... really don't have words to describe how I feel about what happened. All I can think about is all the people who are with out power, food, water, and in terror of the radiation from the Power Plant.  And I concerned about my Japanese language teacher , her family lives near Sendai and she's very worried about them.  My class and our teacher are making a donation box to help out. I'm saving money to donate when it's ready next week.  I wish I could be in Japan helping out. I don't really care about radiation, aftershocks etc. I would have the people who need help get it and brought to safety than worry about my self.   Though I have been going through random bouts of crying since last night at my Japanese class. I drew my teacher a picture with the caption "ganbatte kudasai!" or "cheer up!/Don't give up!"  to make her feel better.  And it did, but I still feel really upset.
Hopefully, water bombing the Nuclear Plant(from whut I heard) will stop the reaction and cut down on the radiation to a safer level so the red cross and Japanese Self Defense force can go in without worry and get food and water to the people.

Stop tempting me fate!

When I was 13 I got the Metabee model from Medabots. Since then I have wanted a new one, my first Metabee has been broken in some places due to being dropped, moved, and turning a joint slightly the wrong way. Last year I was lucky to get a custom life size plushie made for me, but I still wanted a action figure. I've been wanting  a new figure for years, and now the Universe has answered. Three times.

 Tamashii Nation D-Arts

 Kotobukiya Gunnose Model

Kotobukiya Metabee Model

I have Gunnose already on preorder,  I don't know what to do about the other 2. Kotobukiya's Metabee is on preorder right now, but the D-arts looks more solid. OOOOOG! DAMN YOU FATE! DX I want them all ;_;

The day after the big storm.

After finally getting to sleep with the wind shaking the house I woke up to the sun rising.
Looking out the window I noticed the amount of snow out side and inside my window had grown. So I let the figures take a look at it before it melted.

Once the snow melted, I finally got a look at the walk way to my door. A combination of the snow and the plows  and put about 3 feet of snow down. I had to shovel my way out just to get to the road.
it's kinda hard to tell the height from this angle, even when you're not looking through a camera. For some reason the snow and the light scewd  the depth perception. Weird.

Either way I really can't wait for spring now.

"It's fifty below and out there on the ground there's 90 inches of snow"

It's been incredibly stormy in Atlantic Canada. For the past month and a half we've had a storm every week, though that doesn't mean we've had snow days at school. No, college is open no matter what the weather. I've been singing the song from Robert Munsch's 50 Below Zero(hence the title)

It's kinda scary the amount of snow we've got. This was taken the day after I got back from my Christmas Break. Poor Miyuki.

I've been drinking a lot more coffee lately. The bad weather and project for school have been draining my energy. Though, because of this I've been having troubles sleeping at night, that and that my room has been roasting for the past 2 weeks.

We had a few good days inbetween storms, but very cold. It's been below zero almost everyday. Oh how I wish for Spring. I've never really liked Winter, you can't go very far with so much snow, it's quite wet , gloomy and just plain old crappy.

Black Rock Chuter: Whut's all that white stuff flying around Doro-nesan?
Drossel: That's snow Chuter-chan.
Black Rock Chuter: SNOW? That's just weeeiirrdd.

Later on this evening I noticed that the snow was building up inside my window. I figured it was a good a time as any to expose 2 of my girls to snow first hand.
Drossel: Aw man this stuff looks like fun!
Drossel: ACK! It's cold!
BRS: I think it's melting. I can feel it seeping into my boots.
The girls dried off afterwards.

IT's gotten so bad that I can't see across the street from my window anymore, and the wind is shaking the house. Quite scary actually.
I'm going to head to bed soon, hopefully I'll get some sleep tonight. I will be posting my pictures from Christmas and of the other adventures I've had in the mean time.

The New Guy

Just got  a new member to the Figure Family. I decided to give him a INTERESTING Introduction.

Chief doesn't seem happy for some reason.  Unfortunetly, I can't afford to buy Fall of Reach to play it. Or an XBOX for that matter. I will learn the story eventually.

The Figma is Figma Me, or Kagami with Misao's head. :P A quick and easy custom.

Black and White

This was suggested by my brother. Subaru and BRS have some similar aspects to them; the long flowing clothes, the ability to smack you ass 4 ways from thursday, etc. And of course the contrasts, mainly the colour choices.
It all seemed to fit.(and yeah I'm rambling here)
It took me an half hour to get everything set up for this, the background kept falling over, or wouldn't fit in the clips for the di;stage.  I'll post some more Black and White themed shoots later on this month and next month.
